Item Quantitative and qualitative research methods : considerations and issues in qualitative research(The Research Centre, Maldives National University, 2020-08) Hameed, HassanIn the past four decades, research using qualitative methods is increasingly being used to create images of reality. The methods present a challenge because the process of collection and organization of these images are not well-defined. This paper, after summarizing the features of quantitative and qualitative research, outlines the major considerations in delimiting and interpreting qualitative inquiries.
