Abstract
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Maldives has developed this paper to facilitate, finalize, and implement the Corruption Risks Assessment and Mitigation Management Plan that the ACC has commenced in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) from 26th of March 2019. In two separate sessions, corruption risks assessment and mitigation methodology were presented and discussed in supporting the ACC at identifying a realistic and focused list of risks likely to do the most damage to the Commission and, by applying the methodological steps in prioritizing the risks, to develop a tailored practical mitigation management plan. This paper is the finalized report for a way forward with the project, to be further endorsed by the senior ACC Management and presented to the staff for full implementation.
