Workshop report 3 : stakeholder consultation on regulation on GHG inventories and MRV

Abstract

As part of a consultancy project to review and strengthen institutional arrangements for Climate Change Reporting, a workshop was held on 19th December 2024. The main objective of the workshop includes. 1.To discuss and obtain feedback of draft regulation on GHG inventories and MRV of mitigation actions. The workshop was held in the main meeting room of Utilities Regulatory Authority (URA). 10 participants from different stakeholders joined the workshop to provide feedback for the draft regulation on GHG inventories and MRV of mitigation actions. The workshop was conducted in plenary session presentations and plenary discussions. The plenary discussions were facilitated by the consultants. The discussions were aimed to obtain feedback in order to enhance the draft deliverables. The workshop is one of three workshops that collectively fulfill Deliverable 1.1.4: “Three (3) Workshop reports of inter-ministerial coordination mechanism consultation and finalization” of the CBIT Maldives project.
