Abstract: This Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) is an evaluation of the potential environmental, socio-economic and natural impacts of the borehole drilling for subsurface investigations in Hulhumale’. The project is undertaken by Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC), as part of preliminary feasibility study for development of a multistage deep sea water utilization infrastructure in the Maldives.
